This state-mandated 28-hour training covers firearms safety, legal considerations, marksmanship, and tactical defensive shooting techniques.

Course Breakdown:

Days 1 & 2 (Classroom Instruction – 10 Hours Each Day)

• Florida firearms laws, use of force, and legal responsibilities
• Firearms safety, handling, and maintenance
• Marksmanship fundamentals and defensive shooting tactics

Day 3 (Live Fire Qualification – 8 Hours at the Range)

• Practical shooting exercises to demonstrate proficiency
• Weapons handling, drawing from a holster, and engagement drills
• Qualification course of fire per Florida state standards

• Licensed Class “D” security officers seeking armed certification
