DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce Target Set’s first Tactical Shooter Course of 2025\, taking place on March 8th at Saltwater Shooting Club in St. Augustine. This high-intensity course is designed for operators looking to refine their precision shooting skills and master movement-based engagements with both rifles and handguns. Spots for this course are limited\, so early registration is highly encouraged. \n  \nCourse Overview: \nThis course will push participants to operate at a higher tactical level\, integrating individual performance with team-based maneuvers in high-stress scenarios. Shooters will engage in: \nPrecision Shooting (2-Hour Sniper Block) – Led by an experienced sniper\, this segment will focus on precision rifle fundamentals\, including proper shooting positions\, ballistic considerations\, and shot placement under stress. \nMove & Shoot Scenarios – Engaging targets while on the move with rifles and handguns. \nWorking as an Individual Within a Team – Understanding team dynamics\, communication\, and positioning. \nMovement on Contact – Advancing\, retreating\, and using cover while maintaining verbal communication and target selection under pressure. \n  \nGear Requirements: \nParticipants are expected to bring their full kit\, including the firearms and gear they intend to train with. The course has physical demands\, so be prepared for high-energy drills and movement-based shooting exercises. \nAmmunition: \n\n300 rounds – Pistol\n400 rounds – Rifle\n\nFirearms & Equipment: \n\nPistol – Minimum 3 magazines\nGun Belt – Mag holder and holster required\nRifle – Minimum 4 magazines\, with 3 mags worn on your person and 1 in rifle.\nRifle Sling – Required for all rifle drills\nKit / Body Armor / Chest Rig – Strongly recommended for realism and load management\nEye & Ear Protection – Mandatory\n\nThis course is designed to challenge your skills\, refine your tactical efficiency\, and test your ability to perform under stress.
